Journey of Self-Discovery Video Series with Rick Hill
Monday, September 30 will mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation across Canada. It is also Orange Shirt Day, a time to honour the children who attended residential schools. For Indigenous communities, September 30 is a day for families, communities, and nations to come together in remembrance and to take part in ceremonies and healing activities.
We are honoured to share this six-part video series from Rick Hill, Distinguished Fellow – Adjunct Professor and Indigenous Innovations Specialist at Mohawk College. The videos briefly touch on the topics explored in the Journey of Self-Discovery Reflections on Building Indigenous Relationships guide (PDF) created by Mohawk College's Indigenous Initiatives and Education, and Student Services teams, in 2022.
