Mohawk names new Chief Human Resources Officer

Mohawk College is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Mascarin as Chief Human Resources Officer.

Megan brings to Mohawk extensive leadership expertise and proven skill in a wide variety of human resources areas, including strategy and business planning, organizational development, labour relations and equity and inclusion, amongst other skills.

“Creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment is a priority for Mohawk,” says Alison Horton, Vice President, Corporate Services. “Megan’s expertise and experience will be instrumental in supporting this work, and I am excited to have her on our team.”

Megan holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, a Human Resources Management Certificate from Sheridan College, and she has received designation as a Certified Human Resources Executive from the Human Resources Professionals Association.

She previously served as Director, Human Resources/Chief Human Resources Officer for the Town of Milton. She also served as Vice President Human Resources and Equity at Sheridan College.

Megan started in her new role on January 6.
