Mohawk Prof Receives Environmentalist of the Year Award

Mohawk College Professor Dr. Denis Corr has received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his lifelong efforts to improve air quality in Hamilton. The award was presented as part of this year's Hamilton Environmentalists of the Year Awards that were given out on June 12 at the 40th Annual Environmentalist of the Year Awards Dinner. Established in 1979, and now celebrating 40 years of recognizing efforts to protect, improve and steward the environment in our community, the awards celebrate the dedicated efforts of citizens, businesses and organizations who make Hamilton a better place to live.
