Mohawk Recreation Therapy student wins provincial award

Kirsten Heinonen, a Mohawk College Recreation Therapy student, was honoured with the 2019 Adrienne Gilbert Student Award of Excellence by Therapeutic Recreation Ontario.

Kirsten received her award on May 29 at the Therapeutic Recreation Ontario conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This award recognizes the outstanding contributions of students within and outside of their academic programs.
