Mountaineer Varsity Highlights – November 19

Last week, Mountaineers cross country athletes ran in the national championships. As well, Mountaineer student athlete Jacob Jones will represent Ontario at a national qualifier bonspiel in Saskatoon from Nov. 22-27.

All basketball and volleyball teams were active in exhibition play. Of note, in basketball Celina Chung had a double-double (13 points, 13 rebounds) in the team's loss to Humber and Daniel Graham scored a career-high 39 points in the Mountaineers' win over the Canadian Mennoite University Blazers.

And, off-court, the Men’s Volleyball team is participating in Movember. They have set a goal of collecting $5,000 to support men’s health. The team has raised nearly $1,500 to this point. If you want to help the team support this charity, you can donate on their team page.
