Please join me in welcoming Alexis Lenihan and Alyssa Lancia to their new roles:

Alexis Lenihan – Project Coordinator and Entrepreneur in Residence

A superb faculty member and accomplished entrepreneur, Alexis brings to the Centre a track record of helping Entrepreneurs develop both themselves and their businesses.

Alexis played a key role in the success of the DEFY Symposium for Female Entrepreneurs, has been at the forefront of curriculum development for the Family Business/Succession Planning content, and is set to launch a revamped SURGE program this fall.

In her new role, Alexis will oversee the SURGE and Collective programs while working with the team on all Centre programming and outreach activities.

Alyssa Lancia – Project Specialist and Entrepreneur in Residence

Alyssa comes to the college with prior experience in assisting students and as a successful entrepreneur. Alyssa continues to run her business, Darling Donuts, and most recently was a winner in the First Ontario Credit Union One Award pitch competition.

Alyssa brings boundless energy, new ideas, and first-hand experience as an entrepreneur to her role. She will be responsible for all social media for the Centre, student intake into our micro centres, and assisting in event coordination and execution.

Natalie Reid will continue to manage Centre events and outreach activities. Natalie will also be accountable for the Agency and Consultancy micro-centres. The centre would like to acknowledge Natalie for the valuable work she has done to make SURGE what it is today. SURGE has been successful in launching and growing close to 50 student businesses, largely because of Natalie’s efforts and commitment to our students and their successes.
