President McKerlie guides Workforce Recovery Taskforce - In the News

President Ron McKerlie was invited to join the Mayor’s Taskforce on Economic Recovery for the City of Hamilton and, in its first meeting, was selected to serve as the Taskforce's chair. Terri Johns, Board Member, West End Home Builders’ Association, was selected as Vice-Chair.

The Taskforce is tasked with determining the key, rapid decisions and actions necessary to springboard Hamilton back to recovery in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns and disruptions. The Taskforce will provide multi-sectoral leadership and direction to guide Hamilton’s economic recovery. It will create an aggressive, action driven plan for immediate, near-term results. At the same time, it will look to position the City of Hamilton for long-term and sustainable economic recovery.
