Reuse with Friendlier!

Did you know Mohawk College has a reusable container program called Friendlier? This initiative aims to reduce the amount of packaging waste generated at food places on campus. Be an environmental champion by participating in the program! 

By returning your containers, you support a Mohawk College initiative that has prevented over 35,000 single-use plastic containers from being used so far! 

How it works:

1. Pay small deposit for Friendlier container at select food locations on campus.  Locations: Residence – Mo’s Restaurant and C-Wing Café (Chef’s Table, Create Station, and Burrito Loco)
2. When finished your food, scan the QR code using Friendlier app.
3. Throw the container into a Friendlier return bin.
4. Retrieve deposit. Please note: Your deposit(s) will be returned to your Friendlier account within 2 weeks. They can be transferred to your bank account by e-transfer.
5. Repeat!
