Supporting the Transformation to Zero Carbon Buildings

On June 10 @ 1PM ET join Mohawk College and expert panelists as part of a Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery webinar, as they discuss the transformation of the building sector.

Did you know the energy used to heat and cool buildings accounts for 13% of Canada's GHG emissions? To meet our climate goals, nearly every existing building in Canada will have to undergo retrofits to reduce carbon emissions, and new buildings will need to be extremely energy efficient. Tune in to learn about how we can train our workforce to build better and support tremendous growth in construction, skilled trades and engineering.

Hear from expert panelists from the National Research Council of Canada, EllisDon’s Modular and Prefabrication Department, and Mohawk College in conversation with moderator, David Wheeler. To learn more about the panelists, click here.
