Valiant Effort

A behind-the-scenes look at how a local game development studio is using VR to recreate history

Sharp End Studios, a Hamilton-based video game development studio, is working with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum to create a cooperative aircrew game and VR experience that will be released in 2020. The game will be called Valiant Effort and will help connect users with a storied piece of Canadian aviation history -- the Avro Lancaster, a World War 2 bomber that played a key role in the defeat of Nazi Germany. The 10-person development team working on the project includes several Mohawk grads.
