What is C2R2, and what is Mohawk College’s role in it?

C2R2_Slide_Deck_CaptureAs many are aware, Mohawk College is a member of the Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery (C2R2), coalition of 15 leading colleges, cégeps, institutes and polytechnics from across Canada.

These institutions are working together to provide the skills required to transition to a clean economy, foster a more inclusive and equitable workforce, develop training and research opportunities, and create inclusive opportunities that enhance equity and continue to further truth and reconciliation with First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Over the past several months, Mohawk has been acting as the coordinating secretariat for C2R2, and in recent months, the coalition has been actively engaging government departments and seeking funding opportunities. The slide deck linked to this articles details the function and direction of the coalition.
