Driving Impactful Change: Celebrating CCCM’s Contributions
Since 2017, the Centre for Climate Change Management (CCCM) at Mohawk College has been empowering companies and organizations to thrive in a low-carbon economy.
By working collaboratively with heavy industry, small and medium-sized businesses, governments, and local communities, CCCM has contributed to the development of effective solutions and opportunities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and respond to sustainability challenges.
Taking a holistic approach, the CCCM evaluates every solution in context to ensure that their work is sustainable and adds real value.
Since becoming an Applied Research Centre with IDEAWORKS at Mohawk College in 2020, CCCM continues to evolve, offering both standard services and bespoke custom solutions to its partners. Whether through emissions evaluations, technology scans and carbon economy guidance, the CCCM “pressure tests” ideas to make sure they add value and are built to last.
