Mohawk appoints Kim Watkins as Vice President, Corporate Services

Mohawk College is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Watkins as Vice President, Corporate Services.

Since joining the college in 2016, Kim has held multiple positions within the Corporate Services division. Prior to becoming Acting Vice President, Corporate Services in April of this year, she served as Chief Financial Officer, but also served as Interim Chief Information Officer and Interim Chief Human Resources Officer providing leadership and stability during transition periods in those departments and gaining appreciable recognition for the complex delivery of services in each of the portfolios.

Kim holds a Masters of Business Administration from Laurentian University. She is a Certified Public Accountant with a Business Administration – Accounting diploma from Canadore College. She has also obtained her Human Resources Management and Risk Management certifications.

An active member of Ontario’s postsecondary community, Kim serves as a volunteer member of the Ontario Educational Collaborative Marketplace and the College Support Staff Employer- Employee Relations Committee. She is also a Trustee for the CAAT Pension Plan.

Kim’s permanent appointment became effective on December 1.
