This session will provide an introduction to Microsoft Teams and Office 365 which can be utilized within Teams. You will learn how to access Teams, create or join a Team, and how to use the many features available to you for collaboration with your colleagues.

Indigenous Mythbusters | October 28

The session will be an open and safe forum to ask questions related to Indigenous culture. We will be sharing some historical context and how it impacts services related to students. In particular, we will discuss common misconceptions and stereotypes associated to Indigenous people and communities in order to create greater understanding of Indigenous histories, contemporary realities, and cultures.

Battling Zoom Zombies | October 29

Zoom zombieism is the frightening condition of muted, staring faces or, even more terrifying, a screen of multiple name plates. Using kinesthetic, fast-paced, multi-modal activities that prime the brain for learning, this session helps you emerge victorious against a sea of zoom zombies, lest you fall prey to their growing ranks. Learn four fun tactics to become an effective warrior in the battle against ZZ while building community and interaction. All welcome. Session will be recorded and posted to GIFT2020 in MyCanvas.

All Our Relations | November 3, November 5

All Our Relations will focus on meaningful relationship building with Indigenous students, employees, and community, and how we are showing up to support students with intention, wisdom, and understanding from the perspective of Indigenous ways of knowing and being. The session will bring in the seven Grandfather Teachings and information on Indigenous communities and realities in order to be relational and reciprocal.

Mohawk Qualtrics - Survey Basics | November 11

You need to get a survey out to participants but you’re not sure what tool to use. Stop using free online survey software, and attend this 2-hour workshop on creating surveys in Qualtrics. This easy-to-use online survey tool is available to all employees.

FY2021/22 Investment, Information Technology, & Capital Proposal Training | November 23

Financial Managers will receive an overview of revisions to the 2021/22 Investment, Information Technology, and Capital Proposal process, participate in a demo and review of the new In-take tool/system and obtain any 1-to-1 support that may be required.
